From spreadsheet exports to board charts

How we turn raw multi-location extracts into charts that a partner meeting can actually follow.

From spreadsheet exports to board charts

Board audiences rarely want every cell from your accounting export. They want ranking, trend, and a plain sentence about what changed.

We begin by validating that each location’s currency, tax treatment, and period end match. Mixed VAT handling is a common source of false gaps in Thai multi-unit groups.

Charts then follow a fixed order: network total, location rank for the period, three-month trend for the bottom quartile, and labour or cost pressure where relevant.

Colour is reserved for variance against a stated target — not decoration. Dark presentation materials work best when the eye lands on the outlier first.

The final pack always includes the source period and the data cut-off date on every page. Partners remember that stamp when they ask why a late-arriving invoice is missing.
